I made copies of the assignment, they are at the left computer monitor. The project is due next week.
The bike Foley stereo bounce is located here:
sound drive->student sound->post->post 2012->finzi bike Foley bnc
Import that into a stereo track.
The file is a dual mono WAV, so it imports without conversion. (shift/cmd/I)
The dual mono file will go into a stereo track. Don't place it on 2 mono tracks. Dual mono bounces are native to directly import into PTools. Stereo interleaved for CDs or other final mix outputs.

Eliminate the setup tone requirement.
ReplyDeleteGot it! Thanks Vin!
ReplyDeleteI'm in MARS with Ivan. The bike foley that we made is extremely low even if we crank up the faders. Loudest part is around -18db. Can I fix it and re-bounce?
ReplyDeleteCall me.
ReplyDeleteHow do I organize my VOX tracks? Should I have one track for each person like what we did for the bikes? Should I have one track for vox and make a separate track only if it's multi-vox? You probably already explained this. My memory just sucks.
ReplyDeleteIs it appropriate to call it vox? Or should I call it ADR/dialogue?
DeleteRuthie, I understand you question better after reading this, so regardless of what I told you, have a separate track for each character. Call Char name+ ADR if it's ADR. E.G.: JoeADR. If it's location dialogue, then don't tag it as ADR.
ReplyDeleteOk, cool. What's location dialogue? Like walla?
DeleteNo. Walla is not dialogue. Consider it an effect. Dialogue is actors performing on set.
ReplyDeleteDelta Does ADR
ReplyDeleteThat was so much fun!
